I just finished setting up MS DOS 6.22 in Virtual PC 2004.
I really like the feel of it.
It has that old feeling.
Because I want to do word processing and spreadsheets in DOS,
I want to know what the version numbers were for Microsoft's final DOS versions of Word and Excel?
And also where I can find them!
I need the DOS machine to be able to log into my Ethernet through a network card,
so I want to know what kind of client should be used.
Should it be Microsoft Network Client or Microsoft Network Manager?
Please! Boss! Help us little guys who are throwing ourselves back into the embrace of DOS.
