I have an antivirus boot disk here called “Selling Coffee”; it booted with Grub, but I couldn't go on, I could only reboot manually. Its message says—possibly a virus started before it, CMOS was changed, and it says press any key to Power off right away. Under DOS I ran its antivirus program; after the interface came up, I still couldn't continue, but when put on a floppy it works normally; booting with Vfloopy gives an XMS error and hangs hard, so again I have to do it manually. Please take a look, and don't let it fail to upload again~...

Why won't it upload again? It says the object doesn't support this property~ dizzy

Still won't upload, forget it, forget it, sigh... dizzy

No, maybe it detected that it wasn't booted from drive A:, so it assumed that; also under DOS its main program did start, but it wouldn't run the antivirus scan. But from a floppy it works, and its disk doesn't have the common boot files we use.

Antivirus software of this kind generally comes with some copy-protection measures, so if it gets copied somewhere else, it may no longer run normally.

In this example, I think it seems like a check on the floppy medium. If it finds that the disk is being read very quickly, it assumes it isn't a floppy, so it refuses normal operation.

This is only my guess.
