You need special drivers for Pcmcia. Modify config.sys&autoexec.bat
I suggest you get the Samsung Q10 system restore CD and study it.

If there is an executable program like SETUP on that driver floppy disk, try running it directly, then follow the installer's prompts to automatically complete the installation of the PCMCIA CD-ROM drive; if there is no SETUP program on the driver floppy disk, then just do as treebus said.
