I’ve looked around, but I still haven’t seen one that supports both ZIP extraction and reading bookmarks at the same time. Could someone well-informed recommend one to me?

I use RAR 2.50 to view document contents inside ZIP files, but PKUNZIP.EXE needs to be present in the RAR program directory. If you need to view Chinese content, please start the Chinese character support system first. For the specific operation, see RAR’s prompt information. (1. Select the ZIP file and press ENTER to go in, move the cursor to the file you want to view, then press F3 to view it.)

It seems ACE software has a similar function too, please give it a try!

I generally use VC downloaded from New DOS Era. Its ZIP extraction algorithm is very strong; if extracting to a RAM virtual disk, it basically doesn’t stall, much better than similar software. But unfortunately it doesn’t have a bookmark function. The ones that support bookmarks don’t support ZIP extraction. Since my main use is reading novels, speed and continuity are fairly important requirements.
