At present the operating system I am using is Windows 2k, installed on the first hard disk
(C drive) partition (Primary Partition＋Active Partition)
(D is an extended partition (Extend Partion)

The second hard disk is a USB hard disk
(E drive) partition (Primary Partition＋Active Partition)
(F is an extended partition (Extend Partion)

If I can successfully install the Windows Me operating system on (E drive)

Question:

How can I use a Windows Me boot disk to boot the Windows ME operating system installed on the (E partition
Do I need to modify some files on the Windows Me boot disk and in the windows
How should I modify them???

Isn't this USB E drive a bootable primary partition? It can boot. I haven't used USB, if I'm wrong don't laugh at me...

Ordinary DOS boot disks usually cannot boot Windows ME, but a dedicated Windows ME boot CD can boot Windows ME. I suggest posting this thread in the "WIN and Other Operating Systems" section.
