I recently set up a Win2000 Server server to use as a file server. My original plan was to use Novell NetWare 3.12 as the file server, but since I had no drivers for NW3.12, I had no choice but to use Win2000 Server in place of NW3.12.
But this brought another problem. Because of the software I use (the software I put on the server must be supported by a DOS environment), in order to ensure data security and accuracy and the stability of the server (mainly to avoid virus interference), and since my own skill level is not high, I have been unable to solve the problem of DOS 6.22 logging into Win2000 Server. I can only use Win98 to log into the server, and then use Win98's MS-DOS to support the use of the software. That way, it is unavoidable that it will be bothered by viruses, increasing the server maintenance workload.
I sincerely ask the experts here online to help me solve this login problem. I would be extremely grateful.
