These days most Internet access uses broadband. Although with ADSL you can use the PPPoE dial-up built into the ADSL MODEM itself to get DOS online, that can only be considered going online through a router. A lot of people are using VDSL and LAN with virtual dial-up, so this method won't work. For broadband under DOS, aside from going online through a router (or proxy), is it really impossible to do dial-up Internet access like with an ordinary modem?? Under WIN98 there is RASPPPOE; is there something similar under DOS as well????
