Under DOS, I'm using the serial port to transfer files between two 586 machines, using tc20, with the function int86(0x14,®,®). The serial port uses only three wires, and the other signal lines are not handled, but it cannot connect. LapLink 3.0 works normally. I'd like to ask everyone: when programming with the int14 interrupt, is a three-wire serial connection not workable? How should a three-wire serial connection be programmed (under DOS)? How should serial-port power stealing be programmed? Thanks! Very urgent.
