The command interpreter "COMMAND.COM" on my computer is missing. The screen shows "C>". What should I do? Thanks.

Boot with a DOS boot disk of the same version, then copy COMMAND.COM from the DOS boot disk to C:\ on the hard disk.

My "DOS boot disk" is already in "CD-COM". The computer shows "C>". After "C> ", exactly what should I type?

Does it also display words like "Type a location of command interpreter" and so on while showing C>?

Specify the path to command.com for it. For example: c:\command.com
or c:\windows\command\command.com.
Of course, a boot disk in the floppy drive will also do: a:\command.com
Then copy command.com from the boot floppy to c:\ and c:\windows\command

If you have a bootable CD, you should put it into the CD-ROM drive, then change the BIOS so the computer boots from CDROM first. Then start the computer, and after that you can copy command.com following the steps above

Note that the DOS version on the boot floppy/CD must be the same as the one on the hard disk.
