Right now this is my situation:

I want to boot from the CD into DOS first (without loading the CD-ROM drive)

Then run format c:/s

Because I’m using a restore card, it will pop up something like abort, retry, fail

I press f twice, then when it asks whether to format, I type y

Then copy all subdirectories and files in the razor folder on the CD to C:, and that should do it.

I read the forum all evening, and I feel what everyone says is too deep. I tried it myself, and it all failed.

I hope everyone can help me.

“without loading the CD-ROM drive” and “then copy all subdirectories and files in the razor folder on the CD to C:, and that should do it”

Wrong! You have to load the CD-ROM drive

The problem I’m running into now is that I want to put automatic formatting of drive C in autoexec.bat

But:

WARNING,ALL DATA ON NON-REMOVABLE DISK
DRIVE C: WILL BE LOST!
Proceed with Format (Y/N)?

I have to type y here before it will format. Can I add a line in autoexec.bat to make it continue automatically?

After formatting is finished there will be:

Volume label (11 characters,ENTER for none)?

Here I have to press Enter. How do I write this into autoexec.bat?

1. It’s autotest - format c: /s /autotest
2. Add this to config.sys: shell=command.com /p /f
Somehow somewhere I've got to choose.
No matter if it is win or lose.
