Question about dual hard drives under DOS, please help, thanks! - China DOS Union Forum

My first hard drive, disk1, is the boot drive. The second one has no primary partition, just one logical partition. I connected it only after installing the system. It could still be accessed normally under DOS, but recently this prompt started appearing: ——> Invalid drive specification ? The prompt when booting Linux is: Hdc drive not ready in command ; I've installed and reinstalled things so many times, and added a lot of stuff, that I don't know what affected it. Does it look like I lost some driver? Or what else could be the reason... Many thanks!
