I'm using a Lenovo laptop. Because the external CD-ROM drive that came with it is broken, I had no choice but to take a USB CD-ROM enclosure and put a Sony CD-ROM drive into it
Then I booted into DOS using a normal boot disk made through Windows 98, and then used duse4.4
The command is as follows::duseldr duse.exe dri=1
The following text appears:
....(first few lines omitted, they say that loading some things succeeded)
usb cd-rom support enabled
cd-rom: 'sony cd-rw crx140e'
usb drive support enabled
drive e :
Not ready reading drive A
Abort, Retry, Fail?
(end)
The result is that the USB CD-ROM did not load successfully. The problem should be with "not installed", but what exactly was not installed? Please give me some advice, experts!
Anyway, in the end I couldn't even find the A: floppy disk that had the duse command on it
