My computer motherboard is an MSI MS-6850 845GMAX, which supports USB 2.0, and my external hard drive enclosure is a Newman Freeloader, which also supports USB 2.0. The notebook hard drive model is Hitachi HTS548040M9AT00.
I used Drive Fitness Test 3.51
to create a boot disk, but this boot disk has no DOS driver for USB hard drives. I used Norton
Ghost 2003's Boot Wizard to create a boot disk that supports USB hard drives. After booting,
Ghost can find the USB hard drive, and using the DIR command I can see the file directory on the USB hard drive.
After adding this driver to the DFT 3.51 boot disk, DFT cannot start automatically, and it gives a Ram Driver not found
or size mismatch error. So I had to self-extract Dft-v300.exe and run DFT.EXE.
After entering the program, BUS Scan detects the USB hard drive on the SCSI bus, and when it scans the second SCSI device, it hangs.
I also tried the DUSE 4.9 driver, but that didn't work either (it hangs while loading the driver).
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

DOS does not support USB 2.0, so you need to disable the usb2.0 conteroler in CMOS.
