A Simple Method for Localization Under DOS Software: DN 3.70, CCDOS 97 Simple Localization Method: 1. Start the CCDOS Chinese character system under DOS, and run DN to enter the graphical interface. 2. Select the COM or EXE file you need to localize, and press F3 to browse. 3. Press F7 to search for the English resource you need to localize. 4. After finding it, press F4, and press TAB to switch to the right window, and use the corresponding length of Chinese character string to modify and replace (note that the Chinese character string must not be longer than the English resource length, otherwise the localization of this COM or EXE file will not run normally). When the Chinese length is less than the English length, use spaces to supplement, or switch to the left window and use the hexadecimal number 00 to supplement. 5. Press SHIFT+F7 to continue searching and replacing. 6. After modification, press ESC, and select Y (ES) to save the modification. The above method is only effective for beginners, please don't laugh at experts. |

Although this localization is simple, it is very inconvenient to operate and actually very troublesome to operate.

This method is too troublesome!
Might as well use U-edit 8.0 |

I used PCTOOLS before too, but it was too troublesome, and from time to time I would encounter the problem of half a Chinese character. It was difficult to be sure if I had made a typo when encountering line breaks.

I originally also used PCTOOLS + CCDOS to localize PCTOOLS 5.0
