I want to extract the text files under a certain folder, without its parent folder. Is there any way to do that?

After opening the file stream, keep the data in the buffer
then close the file stream delete the parent folder |

You can just use compression software, for example use RAR A -r TXTFILE *.txt
then just extract the files. |
