China DOS Union

After I loaded the MOTTO HAIRU software under DOS, there was no problem when I first inserted the USB flash drive and started reading it. Then I plugged the USB flash drive into another computer running Win2000 and copied a file onto it. After that, when I tried to read it again on the original DOS machine, a problem came up. The system says it cannot read it. I'd appreciate it if some expert could help solve this problem.

My opinion is: just like with linux, after loading a USB flash drive under DOS, it probably can't be hot-plugged. You should mount it first and then unmount it before taking it elsewhere to copy things. Otherwise problems will come up. Of course, after mounting it, you can freely access things on it. As for mount and unmount, if there isn't any better way, it can probably only be done by rebooting the system. In other words, you can only find and read the file you copied over midway by reloading the USB flash drive driver (restarting the system).
This is only my personal opinion, not sure whether it's right. If it's wrong, just treat it as if I farted. Hehe

Of course a USB flash drive under DOS can't be hot-plugged. If you do it like this, all the data on the USB flash drive may be ruined. As for how to mount/unmount it, generally you can only restart. But if you don't want to restart, try loadsys.exe. It can freely load and remove drivers under DOS
