I use rhide as the IDE for djgpp, but every time I exit rhide, there is an illegal operation. In Windows 98, it freezes, and in Windows 2000, it prompts an error of ntvdm.exe, and the instruction XXXXXXX accesses the memory XXXXXXX which cannot be read.
It is only when exiting that this happens, and other functions are all normal. I can compile and link, but I can't run the program, because running the program is also an operation to exit the IDE, and there will be the above phenomenon as well. It should be a problem with the IDE. I have no problem writing programs using the command line method. Moreover, I have almost tried all the versions released on the website (I am using version 1.5 now), and it is all like this.
Is there any expert who knows what's going on?

Reinstall the operating system and switch to 1.49.
Out-of-memory error, rarely seen.
If the problem still cannot be solved, check the configurations, including those in RHIDE and DJGPP.ENV.
I used to have this situation only when using HELP, and then somehow it changed.
Changed to a DJGPP server, and the downloaded RHIDE 1.5 had no problems. (Australian HTTP high-speed server)

The final suggestion is, don't use RHIDE, use other editors. Anyway, it's all about adjusting MAKE, no need to be stubborn.

Here are new DJGPP source and binary archives of slightly modified RHIDE-1.5 (build 2003/04/08). I planned to try to find the reasons of several reproducible reported crashes of version 1.5, which I was able to reproduce with 1.5, but after building RHIDE was not able to get them any more. I increased the version number to 1.5.0.1 for this build
