Instructions for Using the Super-Large Multi-Functional Chinese Version DOS Boot Disk
This super-large multi-functional Chinese version DOS boot disk was made by me in one week. I believe it is better than similar DOS boot disks popular on the Internet. At least others do not have Ghost backup and restore system as well as Li Dahai's partition, format, and adjust hard disk size tool disk.
Usage: Unzip the compressed package, find a high-density floppy disk, directly run it to write to a high-density floppy disk, and this boot disk will be made. When you boot the computer with it, it will automatically enter the Chinese state. Because the compressed package is relatively large, the speed will be a bit slow.
This boot disk is made based on the DOS boot disk, supports most IDE optical drives, and has the following new features:
1. Replace the original FDISK with the Chinese-ized WIN98 FDISK, so you can perform partition operations in your familiar mother tongue.
2. Add the simplified Chinese (built-in) rapid partition/format tool F32.
3. Add the mouse driver MOUSE, which can drive the mouse of COM and PS2 ports, and only occupies 3K memory.
4. Add the LFNDOS long filename driver. When it is resident in memory, it supports long DOS filename operations. According to Wengier's opinion, switch to the LFNDOS 1.07 version that supports Chinese long filenames.
5. Add the text file reader READ, which is very suitable for reading long TXT files instead of the TYPE command.
6. Add CTLOAD, which allows you to load the optical drive at any time by typing CDROM at the DOS command line without restarting.
7. Add the command OFF to shut down the ATX power supply under DOS, so that DOS can also achieve software shutdown like WINDOWS.
8. Add the disk buffer tool SMARTDRV, which can greatly improve the operating performance of the hard disk and optical drive.
9. Add the anti-freeze buster, Gong Chengbing's GH95. When死机, press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+C to withdraw all the programs causing the crash from memory.
10. You can type TW to enter the Chinese character system. It adopts the Tianhui 3.1 compressed improved version, which can automatically Chinese-ize the DOS command prompt information, and the speed is better than the Oriental Express used by other Chinese system disks. Introduce several input methods such as Wubi字型 (ALT-F4) from the Kingsoft Chinese character system, plus the built-in national standard location (ALT-F1). You can type QUIT to exit the Chinese character system.
