Right now when I want to restart into MS-DOS from the Win98 shutdown window, after that it just goes to a black screen and I can't do anything at all. Urgent help needed!!

Try deleting config.sys and autoexec.bat in the root directory of drive C:

What graphics card? I've run into this before with the G400, it was exactly like this.

I've run into this problem too, but I don't think it's the graphics card. If it really doesn't work, then reinstall.
