If operating systems were compared to airlines
DOS: Everyone has to push the plane hard until it starts moving; then everybody jumps on, and the plane flies along the coastline until it lands again; then push hard again, jump on again, and again...
MacOS: All the flight attendants, the pilot, the baggage handlers, and the ticket agents all look exactly the same, act the same, and speak the same way. Whenever you ask a detailed question, you tell yourself you don't need to know, shouldn't try to know, and that everything will be taken care of without your knowing anything, so you shut up.
Windows: The boarding gates at the airport are colorful and magnificently decorated, and with the help of the flight attendants you board smoothly and take off safely. Then, without any warning at all, there is an explosion.
Windows NT: Everyone trudges a long way outside the runway, chanting "Password" in unison, then lines up in the shape of an airplane, sits down, and makes airplane flying noises with their mouths at the same time.
UNIX: Everyone arrives at the airport holding a metal plate, then walks onto the runway and starts attaching the plates to the airplane one by one, endlessly arguing about what the final plane will look like.

我完全同意设想建立DOS组织“DOS联盟” ,也就是说和Wengier、以及“起步”站长莫老师等DOS战友一起来建立这个“DOS联盟”,以发展我国自主OS(操作系统)的高度去完成我们共同的愿望。
