If you want to completely clean LILO out of the MBR, besides using FDISK you can also use GDISK. Do it like this:
A:\>GDISK DISK /MBR Here, "DISK" means the hard disk number. If there is only one hard disk, then "DISK" is 1. In addition, GDISK has other operations as well. For example, hiding a partition: A:\>GDISK DISK /HIDE /P:NO. Here, "HIDE" means hide the partition, and "-HIDE" means show the partition. "NO." is the partition number (note: the entire extended partition counts as one partition). |
