Although I agree that software should be small and practical, and I also admire the moderator's and all the experts' consummate skills, I hope you won't be constrained by 1.44MB~~

Yesterday I just downloaded the Super 7.10 boot disk, and found that it really is easy to use. However, it also has shortcomings. For example, it doesn't have somewhat larger software like PQmagic, newer antivirus software (I'm using the DOS edition of Kingsoft Antivirus; although it's not easy to use, it still gets by), and so on.

To tell the truth, this really is a great pity. So I had no choice but to manually collect this software, and rewrite the batch files and other files in the original floppy disk image to fit my tool directory, then write them together onto my CD.

Even though we still like DOS, the times and technology are moving forward, so please don't be constrained by 1.44MB, thanks!

Hehe! 1.44MB floppies are indeed already outdated, but they still have one function with a faint glimmer left ---> when your BIOS is corrupted and even the screen won't light up (black screen)......?

Not everyone has a CD burner
Isn't a USB flash drive even more convenient than a CD burner
But under DOS you don't necessarily need to have a floppy drive
Likewise you still need a 1.44M boot image driver

1.44M really is a limitation, but can it be extended? Right now I'm making a multi-boot CD, using multiple boot IMG files in it to match some corresponding functions, and after booting I directly call the stuff on the CD. That way both can be taken into account.

I'll bump this again too: what must be made clear is that 1.44M does not equal DOS!
