A very old 486 laptop: Toshiba T3600CT. After booting, the screen shows many white vertical stripes. The width of each stripe is exactly one character wide. It is the same after entering DOS. Under normal Win95 it is fine, no problem at all; in Safe Mode the desktop is also fine (no vertical stripes), but there are blue vertical stripes on the taskbar, and ordinary dialog boxes also have this kind of stripe.

The graphics card is Western Digital with 1M of video memory.
There is also another problem: under Win95, after inserting the network card (IBM Ethernet Credit Card Adapter II), the system automatically detects the card and installs the driver. After rebooting, an “Other Devices | PCMCIA Card Services” entry appears in system devices, and the network cannot be used (there should be no problem with the network configuration), it cannot even ping itself. How should this problem be solved? I found the network card driver on the IBM website (ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/network/guietcc.exe), but I can't extract the file (DSK file). Please give some advice, experts.
I’d like to ask all the experts here about the above problems.
