DOS stands for freedom, openness and progress. Let us work hard, learn from the openness and GNU spirit of FreeDOS and Linux, and together build and grow a free GNU GPL world!

Under XP, a lot of folder names are in Chinese.
Under DOS they come out as garbled text. I want a Chinese character support system.
Thanks for the advice!

Back in the DOS era I couldn't download CCDOS. CCDOS is a Chinese-localized DOS system, right? But it seems that if you leave MSDOS, there is no way to run it. What exactly is the relationship between CCDOS and MSDOS? What is the difference between them?
How do you use CCDOS?
Thanks!

CCDOS is add-on software that adds Chinese character processing capability to MSDOS; it is not an independent operating system. MSDOS is the actual independent operating system.
