Help! Reinstalling the PC - China DOS Union Forum - China DOS Union

I have a computer, a 康佰 (MODEL:12XL410 compaq pRESARIO 1200). Because it used to have the English version, which was inconvenient to use, I reinstalled the Chinese version of winme. But it cannot run in normal colors (it only runs in 16 colors, and that cannot be adjusted either). So I used its original CD to do a Recover, but now it just won't install anymore. (Note: when installing the Chinese WIN ME I used a borrowed set of boot disks and a WINME CD.) reinstall windows me no longer works either. It seems like the DOS on my machine was changed, and during reinstallation the original CD that came with it can no longer run. Urgent, please help point me in the right direction, thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe the graphics card driver is missing. Go check the Compaq official website, it should be there.
