N:\DOS\xxx2xxx\bat2exe\bat2com.com always prompts:
bat or dat file not exist !

N:\DOS\xxx2xxx\bat2exe\bat2exe.exe~The converted file cannot be used

BAT2EXEC 1.5 (c) 1990, 1991 Ziff Communications Co.
PC Magazine ?Douglas Boling

Syntax: BAT2EXEC filename.ext

N:\DOS\xxx2xxx\bat2exe\turbobat.com
This is what I have. The converted COM file has problems in the AUTOEXEC booted from the CD. The hard disk is fine.
Are there any other conversion software~

Execute abc.com in autoexec.bat

Prompt: BATCH FILE MISSING

AUTOEXEC.BAT runs well on the hard drive.

If abc.com is not converted, abc.bat runs well in AUTO on the CD!

The COM file converted by BAT2EXE cannot return to AUTOEXEC.BAT after running. Each line in the COM file has been run. That is, it cannot return to the BAT when exiting!

It doesn't work. My RW disk has been written dozens of times!!!

In the startup, skip AUTOEXEC.bat by using SHIFT+F8
a:\autoexec
It passes when run!!!
Is it only necessary to sacrifice the auto batch processing~

Maybe. It seems that the return is only specific to BAT files, and it won't work naturally after converting to a COM file. (I'm just guessing, believe it or not.)

But as long as it's not placed in autoexec.bat, it can return to ~.
I renamed autoexec.bat to a.bat, and after booting, I ran A.BAT under A:\ and it worked.
That is, in the CD boot, there is no autoexec.bat in drive A.
Is it that AUTOEXEC.BAT is loaded in IO.SYS, and the parameters in COMMAND.COM are different from those of the BAT run after booting to the drive?

The most frustrating thing is that in the 98 startup disk, it's fine.
SETRAMD.BAT
a:\findramd

Doing it like this doesn't work either. The COM file converted by BAT2EXE may not have a return statement;
So I think another software is needed.

Do you know if there are exit statements in BAT?
Why does bat2com always prompt ~
bat or dat file not exist!
