One of my laptops has a broken built-in optical drive, so I bought a "Lite-On" USB external optical drive (24X, with DVD and CD burning). When booting with the MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk, it hangs while loading the USB driver. (Sometimes it hangs at the startup screen.)

Can you say which version (date) this boot disk is? Does it hang while loading DUSE?
