1. Prepare a blank floppy disk, click "Start" - "Run", enter "syskey", and in the dialog box that pops up click "Update".
2. Under "Startup Password", choose "System Generated Password", then select "Store Startup Key on Floppy Disk" below it. After clicking "OK", it will prompt you to enter the password, then it will ask you to insert the floppy disk. Insert it and click "OK". Wait a moment and the "key disk" will be created.
From then on, whenever you restart the computer, the system will prompt you to insert this "key disk"; without it, the computer cannot start. If you want to cancel booting with the "key disk", choose "Store Startup Key Locally" in Change Settings, then insert this "key disk" to make the change.
