Has anyone gotten a USB flash drive with FDD boot support working under DOS?

Mine is an Aimon (m-disk) usb flash disk, which supports FDD, HDD, and ZIP boot. My laptop is a toshiba dynabook SS3410. I tried various USB driver combinations from the forum (only some of them so far, not all yet), but still haven't succeeded.

Why do you need to load a driver? Can't you just boot directly in USB-FDD or USB-ZIP mode?

It seems the current usb drivers only support USB removable hard disks or CD-ROM drives.

I got it working. My laptop's bios does support usb-FDD boot. If nothing is added at all (that is, no config.sys or autoexe.bat), the dos environment can also recognize the A: drive on the m-disk (it doesn't matter if the switch is set to HDD). But the HDD part of the m-disk cannot be recognized.

After reading the threads on the forum about USB flash drives working under DOS, I wanted to try and see whether DOS could recognize the HDD part of the m-disk.

The test results were: the combination of usbaspi.sys and di1000dd.sys did not work, assigning a drive letter failed; using the combination of usbaspi.sys and aspidisk.sys succeeded, and the HDD part could be recognized and used. But the FDD part could not be used normally.

For usbaspi.sys, either the novac company's or panasonic company's version works (both are in the moderator's USB driver package), but the novac company's one seems a bit faster.

After unplugging it and plugging it back in, you need to use addev to reload usbaspi.sys and aspidisk.sys once.
