The NIC drivers under vpc and vwm are really hard to find?
Could some expert tell me how they were found? |

vmware's NIC is AMD PCNet AM79C970A
I found this website through a Google search: http://www.peteweb.com/mpoli/NET/OTHER/ Among them, AMD PCnet Network adapter Software Release is the vmware NIC driver The download links are: http://www.peteweb.com/mpoli/NET/OTHER/ETHERTE1.ZIP http://www.peteweb.com/mpoli/NET/OTHER/ETHERTE2.ZIP I have already successfully used this driver to get the NIC working in vmware! There is also a Packet driver in the zip |
