Can DOS6.22 be installed on FAT32? Please don't hesitate to enlighten me, experts, or does it absolutely have to be under FAT16?

Why use such an old DOS version? Absolutely impossible. Please upgrade the system to MS-DOS 7.10, which fully supports FAT32, large hard disks, etc. There is a download for the “MS-DOS 7.10 full installation edition” on both the forum and the website.

Then does DOS7.10 have extended memory such as XMS and EMS? Can old DOS games run smoothly on it?

Do you even need to ask? Of course it all can, after all a newer version is better than an older one.

Isn't there already “A complete guide to using the various commands of MS-DOS 7.x” in the pinned posts of the “Getting Started with DOS Learning” section? Why not read it carefully? On the basis of supporting all the functions of older versions of DOS, MS-DOS 7.10 fully supports many new features, such as large hard disks, large memory, long file names, FAT32 partitions, and so on.
