Hello, I downloaded your super boot disk and tried it. It's very good!! Truly a classic. But I found a problem and wanted to solve it myself, but unfortunately my ability is insufficient, so I hope you can enlighten me:
When the super boot disk is made into a “bootable CD,” it can't boot from the floppy drive, because floppy drive A is virtualized by the CD, so booting from the floppy drive means booting from floppy drive B. But I can't modify MSDOS.BS in the BOOT folder to make it boot from floppy drive B. Could you tell me how to do it???

Which “boot from floppy drive” are you referring to? This super DOS boot disk can be put on a CD as a bootable CD image.

What method are you using to make the bootable CD image? This shouldn't be a problem, because when you put it on a CD and choose "Super DOS boot disk", it directly boots the Super MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk from the A drive virtualized from the CD. And I just tried it again myself: whether directly using the MSDOS710.IMG image to boot the CD, or using DiskEmu to call the MSDOS710.IMG file, everything works normally.

The A drive virtualized from the CD ---- the Super MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk can indeed boot, but that's booting from the CD!
Try choosing Boot from CDROM again and see, that is to say: after it is made into a virtual CD, you cannot boot from the real floppy drive, and choosing Boot from CDROM will cause an infinite loop (it keeps choosing boot from CDROM)!!!

By the way, one more question: how were CDBOOT.bs and MSDOS.bs in your BOOT directory made???

But there is no item called “Boot from floppy disk” in it, only “Boot from super DOS disk”. Please don't confuse the two. Besides, this boot disk was mainly meant to be used on a floppy disk in the first place, so if you put it on a CD yourself, then just don't randomly choose "Boot from CD-ROM". As long as you yourself know that, it's fine.

MSDOS.bs is a file generated by using srctools to save the boot sector of an MS-DOS boot floppy disk.

CDboot.bs is generated from the boot sector of the bcdl floppy disk that boots the CD from a floppy disk, and it was also read using srctools.
