I currently have two computers here with the same fault. Every time they reboot, they automatically scan the registry. Generally speaking, they can’t get into the desktop, because as soon as they reboot, they automatically scan again. Even when they can get into the desktop, a dialog box pops up saying the system scan found some problems with the registry and recommends rebooting the computer to restore it. But rebooting is still useless. It just goes into another endless loop. The hard drives on these computers have already been re-ghosted, and I’ve changed the memory, CPU, and power supply, but none of that solved the problem. The motherboard is the only thing I haven’t replaced. I don’t think it should be a motherboard problem, right? But if it is a motherboard problem, then where exactly is the problem? I hope friends who know about this fault can help me out. I’d be extremely grateful, brothers!
I’ve now also tried connecting a hard drive that originally had no problems to this computer and rebooting, but the automatic registry scan still appears. I think faults with the hard drive, the system, and virus infection can probably be ruled out. After all, a hard drive that works perfectly fine on
another machine has problems as soon as it’s connected to this one, but when that hard drive is put back, that machine works normally in every way. So I’m thinking maybe it’s a motherboard issue. Please speak up freely, everyone. Thanks.

You’ve already tested it by elimination, so it does look like a motherboard problem. But you should still check the BIOS settings to see whether there’s any problem there; better yet, restore them to the factory defaults. Haven’t you ever used this machine normally before?
