After installing DOS 6.22 (a pure DOS system), I installed ETen Chinese, but when running it, the screen gets messed up (the normal display area shifts upward by about one-fifth, and the bottom one-fifth of the screen shows garbled text and some color blocks). What is causing this problem? (This ETen Chinese is normal; it was successfully installed on another machine.) How can this be solved? Please give me some suggestions, thanks.

To add, this computer displays normally when running WIN98.

MS-DOS 6.22 is really too old, so it has quite a few problems in both functionality and compatibility. Please upgrade the system to MS-DOS 7.10; there are downloads on the forum and website.

It may be related to ETen's display adapter driver. It seems ETSETUP can be used to choose the display mode.

Thanks, we're using some kind of barcode software here, very old... The required system is DOS 6.22 plus the ETen system.

Many thanks, the problem has been solved. After running ETSETUP and choosing the display mode, the display became normal!!
