Also, is there any software better than Smart FDISK?

Although Sfdisk (Smart Fdisk) is only 147KB in size, it combines hard disk partitioning, disk formatting, multi-system boot installation, and hard disk bad sector repair in one. It's simple to use and very easy to learn. It supports Chinese startup. You can start the Chinese version of Sfdisk in MSDOS under UCDOS or Windows with the Sfdisk/c command.
