When Win98 starts, if I press F8 and enter DOS mode, is there any way to start the network card and log onto the LAN, so that file sharing can work?
(This machine has no CD-ROM or floppy drive, only Win98 installed. Now I want to clone a new Win98 onto it)

Why do you want to go into DOS to share files? Won't it work under Windows?
Also, have you installed the network card driver under DOS?
If it's already installed, try using C:>net start
C:> net \\UserName\share and see whether you can log into the other machine's shared files
No guarantee it'll work
