This seems to be an old problem, but I still haven’t solved it. After booting from a CD made with easyboot40, unlike a bootable CD made with nero, it does not turn the original real floppy drive into B:, but instead there is no real floppy drive at all. How can this problem be solved? I once used the method of modifying the BIOS to set two floppy drives, which seemed to solve it, but some motherboards have automatic detection, so that won’t work. Please help me, everyone. I rarely ask questions, you experts please help your little sister

Hasn’t easyboot 4.0 already solved this problem? It seems there are two files, useflp.exe and useemu.exe. But I haven’t used them myself.

I don’t have ezboot on my current machine, I’ll upload it tonight.
It’s said that useflp.exe uses the real floppy drive, while useemu.exe can use the virtual floppy drive.

I remembered it wrong, it’s a com file, not an exe file.

I’ve used useflp and useemu. Although this lets me use the real floppy drive, the CD’s virtual floppy can no longer be used. If there is important boot information in the CD’s virtual floppy that needs to be called at that time, wouldn’t that be very awkward? On the one hand I need the real floppy disk to store information, on the other hand I also need the boot information in the virtual floppy. So what I need is something that can make the real floppy drive step back to B:, like a bootable CD made with nero.
Also, here is a real example:
I used nero to make a mini98 CD (running in virtual memory), and it ran normally on a machine with a 52X CD-ROM drive. So I used easyboot to make a multi-menu boot CD, but it just wouldn’t work. Later I found out that easyboot’s virtual floppy could not be recognized by mini win. After I used fackdisk to virtualize the img file into a RAM disk, the problem was solved, but the real floppy disk still could not be used!

What information in the virtual floppy is so important? Can’t it be copied to the RAM disk first?
