This is the CD-ROM driver file from the boot disk downloaded from the forum. In my config.sys I wrote
DEVICEHIGH=VIDE-CDD.SYS /D:IDE-CD
exactly the same as on the downloaded boot disk, but why is it that on the boot disk I made myself it just won't drive the CD?
VIDE-CDD.SYS has already been placed in the root directory of the boot disk.
I used a Win98 boot disk and modified it into a custom boot disk. autoexec.bat has not been modified yet. I only understand very little about batch commands. If something needs to be changed here, please point it out.
I'd also like to ask, what exactly are those parameters added after commands for loading drivers and such in CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT all about? I really can't make any sense of them at all. Please explain.
