Thanks!
My computer is a 486, connected to an EPSON printer. Every time I want to print, the commands I enter are like this.
The first way is:
c:\ucdos
c:\ucdos>prnt
c:\ucdos>sball
c:\ucdos>sball>fox

The second way is:
c:\prnt
c:\ucdos
c:\ucdos>sball
c:\ucdos>sball>fox

What command can be used to achieve the following:
c:\sball
and it goes into my database,
or: c:\ucdos>sball
Thanks!

Put them together and it's a batch file.

I want to know how to handle it. If I don't start PRNT, the print driver won't appear, so how do I make it come out?
Also, another question: I made the data under FOXBASE, and copied it to another machine with a floppy disk. How can I view my contents there? Every time it says
it can't find the original file, or it says the file is read-only. How do I remove the read-only attribute from the file? Moderator, you must answer me.

print should be the UCDOS printer driver. If you don't run it, of course you can't print. The program probably calls the UCDOS print command.
For the second question, please describe it clearly. It may be that your floppy disk or USB drive has write protection enabled for antivirus purposes, or some other reason.
