In 98 you can use a virtual CD-ROM drive under DOS to virtualize a folder as a CD-ROM drive, but I don't know whether 2K and XP have anything like that.

It seems very few people come to this section, not sure whether anyone will answer me.

Isn't vsubst a tool for virtualizing something as a hard disk drive?

Actually what I really mean is, is there a virtual CD-ROM drive that can be read and written?

Isn't this the old version of DAEMON Tools?

It doesn't seem able to achieve a virtual CD-RW effect, right?

Is virtual CD-RW even possible?
