In everyday use I realized that the greatest crisis for a computer is nothing more than hard disk damage, so I worked hard to collect a large amount of technical documentation on hard disk repair, and then put it onto a DOS boot disk. I think this approach should be worthwhile.
This boot disk is not especially advanced in either function or sophistication, but the commonly used functions are still quite complete. Here is a brief introduction:
1, The boot disk itself uses an English interface, but it also includes the Xiuzhenlong Chinese character support system. After booting, type J to call it up.
2, Press f5 at the boot options to enter the purest DOS mode, which is most suitable for certain hard disk repair situations. (Emphasizing this for beginners)
3, Type pan to open the hard disk technical documentation. It can be viewed in split-screen mode, about 200,000 characters in total. Press ctrl+c to end.
4, At the boot options, sometimes you may choose not to load the CD-ROM drive. If you need it later, you can type rom at any time to load another CD-ROM driver program; this one is more flexible in function.
5, Many command names on the disk have been abbreviated for convenience: 4 means 4dos, a means the enhanced attribe, d is a special dir command well worth recommending, dosk means doskey, form means format, k means deltree, m means more, p powers off, smar means smartdrv, and there is also z.bat, which is actually the clear-screen command, but since the letter z is right beside the left little finger, it is a single key and quick to press, so it is also very convenient.
6, Type me to view memory.
