After installing and rebooting, what appeared was still the interface you get when running grub, that is -grub> Anything I type here is useless, and I don't know what I should type, so I had no choice but to restore the MBR; In the result menu shown during installation, item 1 and ... GRUB recognizes the menu.lst file as its menu, generally the c:\boot\menu.lst file. Here's a detailed introduction to how to use the GRUB menu, take a look:
