The IMZs inside GDOSUCS.img for the three different UCSHELL environments under DOS called by GRUB.

Those three imz files are actually img files compressed with gzip

That's true, I used WINACE to compress it into GZ format, but even choosing the maximum compression byte count it still comes out larger than the one he made.
