It took me half a day to install GRUB on a floppy disk. It turns out it only supports 1.44M floppy disks. I hope the instructions will be more detailed in the future.

The emulation floppy disk function of GRUB for DOS currently only supports 1.44M. It is approximately released in December, and will support all floppy disk formats.

GRUB for DOS should already be able to run under MSDOS and FreeDOS, no matter on what medium this DOS is booted: CD-ROM, floppy disk, hard disk, etc.

Currently, GRUB does not yet have the function to read CDROM disc sectors, and naturally cannot call the img file on the disc. This function will be implemented in the future, but not recently.
