My system has both win2000 and winxp installed. winxp was activated with a keygen! I want to back it up with Norton Ghost. The fatal problem is that all partitions on my hard disk have already been formatted as NTFS, so an ordinary boot disk won't work!
So I downloaded a super boot disk from another site, then used hdcopy to make a boot disk, "Super Universal MS-DOS Boot Disk V7.10 Build 2003.05.16". According to the instructions, I tried the third and fourth boot options, but neither would boot! The error for option 3 was that the memory was too large; the error for option 4 was that the HIMEN file was not found!
So, through that readme file, I came to this forum!
What amazed me is that at a time when Windows is sweeping the world, you can still stick to your own path and run this forum, and it's even so active. That is really rare and valuable! I want to express my respect!! And you're still so young, hehe!!! Impressive!
Why not apply to Microsoft??
Since that didn't work, according to one of your web pages you had already updated the Super Boot Disk to September 30, but I can't find the download link. I've been looking for almost an hour!!
Can you help??
Thanks, moderator. Looking at your replies to so many posts, I can tell you really do put a lot of care and effort into this!!
Can you tell me the download link for the Super Boot Disk that supports NTFS?
