What lines should be added to config.sys and autoexec.bat
to allocate part of the memory as a virtual disk? I hope for the simplest possible lines

Another question is:
Why is it that when I use HD to make an IMG file from a WIN98 boot disk, and then use NERO to burn it, adding it as the boot IMA file,

it still can't boot DOS properly, and only gets to the startup screen and then stops~~`????

First, this can be done with a piece of software called xmsdsk
Second, the IMG file you made with hd is not 1.44M in size but is compressed by default, and Nero does not recognize that kind of compressed img format

It should be 1.44M, that's the default size~~```

Also, could you help by giving me the lines for allocating the virtual disk, and list the required files too; uploading them would be even better

Just take a look at the various MS-DOS 7.10 boot disks we made and you'll know.

I want to make one myself. Yours has too many functions; the ones I can't use are just a waste, and it's better to add some other things
