I want the CD I make to have the following function:
After the CD auto-runs, it creates a virtual hard disk on the machine.
Can this be done? Please advise.

This is very easy to do with XMSDSK.EXE. Try this autoexec.bat
@echo off
XMSDSK.EXE 4096 /y
This will create a 4M (4096B) disk in memory. The drive letter will be the one after the last hard disk drive letter, and you can also specify it yourself.
