I’ve used your MINI98, and after booting from the CD it runs normally. What I want to ask now is this:
You said it can be copied to the hard disk and used, but no matter how I try, it just won’t work. What happens is that after startup the screen flashes once and then it reboots.
Please give me some pointers on what to do!
Also, if I don’t copy it to the virtual disk, can it run directly from the CD?

1. If you made it according to the post , then it can run on the hard disk (only drive C).

2. If you downloaded it from FTP (PMINI98.ISO), you can directly burn it to a CD and run it.

But yours is compressed, so it needs to be extracted, and that makes startup much slower. I tried it, but after extracting it, it won’t boot. How can I make it boot directly after extracting it?

At present it’s mainly used for maintenance, so there are not many chances to use it. I’ve already tested it with a real CD, and the time is about the same as booting Windows 98 normally.
