I installed XP using NTFS format, but now I don't know how to convert drive C to FAT32 format. I even tried using the XP installation disc, but that didn't work either,

I agree with the poster above, PQ is fully in Chinese, you can understand it at a glance!

Before converting, you absolutely must change Chinese filenames to English ones, otherwise everything will be ruined. Learn from my lesson.

Use the Simplified Chinese edition of SMAGIC 4.0. You don't have to change Chinese filenames to English, but it's still best to back up important data!!!!

I have used the Simplified Chinese edition of SMAGIC 4.0 to convert many times, and I never had any problems without renaming them, because Unicode is involved during the conversion. So if you use the English edition, problems will appear after conversion, but if you use the Simplified Chinese edition, they won't. Also, SMAGIC was released specifically for NT systems, so SMAGIC is safer than PQMAGIC.

Does SMAGIC really work? I once had a terrible experience where after using PQ to convert, some files with Chinese filenames turned into garbled text and could no longer be used. What a mess......

Find an old hard drive or a partition with no files on it, format it as NTFS, copy files and folders into it, including both Chinese and English names, then convert it~~~ (SMAGIC must be run under DOS, and there must be space for it to write temporary files).

I also tried using PQ to convert NTFS to FAT32. After the conversion, all the Chinese folder names turned into question marks. I almost fainted on the spot. I searched online for a long time and still couldn't find a solution, so I lost a whole pile of data for nothing. If you don't mind the trouble, it's best to move the data away first, then convert, and then move the data back.
