Making an unlock disk doesn’t work, PCDOS can’t boot, the DM trick doesn’t work either, I feel like crying.

Boot with the following Super MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk:
http://newdos.yginfo.net/dosware/mdos71bk.zip Or boot with the ROM-DOS 7.10 boot disk: http://newdos.yginfo.net/dosware/rdos71bd.zip By no means use the so-called “DM trick”! That’s one of the dumbest methods. |

This is already the second time for my machine. The first time, I disabled the hard disk in COMS and installed win2000 to solve the problem. But this time that method doesn’t work. win2000 hangs halfway through running. And with the method provided by the moderator, it still can’t boot.
Moderator, what should I do? Help me, there are lots of important files on my hard disk! |

Then obviously this is not a logic bomb problem, but a hardware problem. Please check the hardware and the BIOS settings.

The hard disk can be seen in the BIOS. But it still can’t boot. The symptoms are the same as the bomb.

“The symptoms are the same as the bomb” and actually being a “logic bomb” are two different things. Please check whether the hard disk is damaged.

Many thanks, moderator. I tried all of the above methods and none of them worked. Looks like my friend’s hard disk is bad too.
